Can services be repeated automatically at specified intervals, like "Monthly", "Quarterly" or "Yearly"?

Services can be set to recur automatically. To set a service to repeat at specified interval, go to "Overview" of the service. Click on "Edit Service" button. Under "Recurring Service" section, choose periodicity of recurrence and set interval accordingly.


How do I know if a service is set to recurrence?

Every recurred service will have a cyclical icon before the name of the service indicating it as a recurred service or set for recurrence.  

How do I stop a service recurrence?

To stop a service from recurring automatically, edit last recurred service and uncheck "Never" under section "Recurring Service" -> "Range". This will stop the service to recur further.


How to set a service to repeat "quarterly"?

There are two ways to set a service to recur quarterly. 


To make a service to recur at the beginning of the quarter, select the recurring option as - "Quarterly". Now, service will repeat quarterly at the beginning of the quarter.


To make a service to recur at the end of the quarter, select the recurring option as - "Monthly" and select "Repeat Every" as "3" months and date of repetition to your need. Following image shows tentative values you can set:


I created a service with a wrong category / service type. Can I change it now?

You create a service for a client by choosing a category, service type, template (if any). You also specify name of the service, description, start date and due date. After you create a service, you cannot change 

  • client
  • category
  • service type 
  • template 

But you can change 

  • name
  • description
  • start date
  • due date

 Also, you can set or modify recurrence.


Can I delete a service?

No. You can only cancel a service. Even a super administrator cannot delete a service. 


Can I add template to a service after I create the service?

Yes. While creating a service, even if you did not attach a template to this service, you may edit the service and select appropriate template. As mentioned earlier, a template once applied to  a service cannot be changed again.


Can I see services created by others? Or All services? 

Yes. You can see all services created by anybody and everybody in the firm, if you have administrative rights. In "Services" tab, click on "Advanced" link to see more search options. In more options, uncheck "My Services" checkbox. This is checked by default. Uncheck this and search. You will be able to see all the services. Please see below picture indicating "My Services" checkbox.
